Reality for the human being is made up of endless strands of thoughts, emotions, and general feelings, bound together, strengthening the individual.
These interconnected strands are dependent on each other and cannot be separated. Keeping them balanced is an art, albeit subconscious. Those who can accomplish this subtle act are fortunate and are the healthy, normal, individuals.
Being unable to do so is a serious problem and often leads to depression, which more realistically described is the lack of feelings of joy rather than just being sad.

Adrenal Glands and Stress
There are four major categories of stress:
1. Physical stress—such as overwork, lack of sleep, athletic over-training, etc.
2. Chemical stress—from environmental pollutants, diets high in refined carbohydrates, allergies to foods and additives, endocrine gland imbalances (due to the interaction of all of the endocrine glands).
3. Thermal stress—over-heating or over-chilling of the body
4. Emotional and mental stress - relationships issues, trauma, abuse and over stimulated.
